RAC/SPA, as a Coordinating Sub-regional Unit in the Mediterranean Sea, supported the organisation of the Fifth Meeting of the Parties to the Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans of the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic Area (ACCOBAMS) that was held from the 5^th to 8^th November 2013, at the Mövenpick Hotel of Tangier, Morocco.

This meeting has been an occasion for RAC/SPA to present activities that have been carried out for the protection of cetaceans and their habitats in the Mediterranean Sea.
