Three annexes are an integral part of the SPA/BD Protocol and the RAC/SPA who was entrusted with the implementation of the Protocol, develops its programme of activities also based on these annexes.

 

 

• Annex I : Common criteria for the choice of protected marine and coastal areas that could be included in the SPAMI list

 

 

• Annex II : List of endangered and threatened species - Last amendment in November 2009

 

 

• Annex III : List of species whose exploitation is regulated – Last amendment in November 2009

An analysis, made by the RAC/SPA between the annexes of the different conventions, shows up the species’ protection status among conventions for each one of the annex II and III.
