SPA/RAC will attend this important event next September (16 – 20) in Honolulu, Hawaii, to share its experience on ocean observing systems

The OceanObs is taking place every 10 years to pool the ocean observing community to enhance and optimize ocean observing towards a fit-for-purpose observing system ensuring societal, scientific, and economic benefit.

OceanObs’19 will seek to enhance the collaboration and connection between observers and end user communities to improve environmental understanding, climate monitoring and adaptation strategies and sustainable use of ocean resources.

SPA/RAC will participate in this event as member of the EU-funded ODYSSEA project consortium, knowing that the aim of ODYSSEA is to develop and operate an observing and forecasting oceanographic platform over all the Mediterranean Sea.
